Phishing emails

Thank you for taking part in the CIS phishing Audit plan. This test was done to raise awareness of phishing and how easy it is to mistake a phishing email for a real one. If you are landing on this page you clicked the embedded link. In a normal phishing scenario you would now be at risk for botnet contamination, Identity theft or a ransomware attack. Instead you get to enjoy a picture of my cat being silly.

To protect yourself in the future please remember the following safety tips. 1. always look at the email address that is sending email it should match the sender. 2. Never click on a random link sent to you via email - even if it is from someone you know and trust 3. Make sure you have up to date antivirus software on your computer and have patched your operating system to close any known security weaknesses.
